Hey lovelies!
Thirteen Reasons Why left me in absolute awe. Jay Asher left Hannah Baker, a fictional teen in the grave because of thirteen people who all starred on one side of a cassette tape that poisoned the young mind of Clay. Weeks after her death Clay finds a wrapped shoe box sitting on his doorstep full of the cassette tapes that is filled with the voice of Miss Hannah Baker, Tony unknowingly assisted her in making her suicide notes in the form of tapes. These tapes provided reasons on why she took her own life and how easy it would have been for someone to help her. The characters are slammed with the fact that they all had contribution but Clay, he was different, he loved her but he let her slip through his fingers.
This book is probably best suited for older readers as the topic of suicide is so heavy. I really hope some of you have a go at reading this book because it is both tragic and beautiful.
All my love, tay xx
