The Amazing Spiderman

Hi everyone,

The Amazing Spiderman, for me, isn 't a comic book adaptation, it's similar to something John Green wrote about. "A star-crossed love". For The Fault in Our Stars fans it was easy to realise that that is a line take from the legendary Hazel Grace Lancaster's eulogy for Augustus Waters. Now most girls dream about having their very own Augutus Waters perhaps without cancer. I think I'll skip the boring details on this cliche love story to present you with the one I dream about and is found throughout Spiderman. Peter (Andrew Garfield) began as the shy photographer and was able to count his friends on one hand. Although his looks gave him immediate brownie points, it was the way he was able to convey his love for Gwen (Emma Stone) is what I believe to be the best love story of the new age cinema. He is so realistic with the popular phrase of "the way he looks at her" this is symbolic of a true love story, one that should be wished for by screaming fangirls. He gave Gwen a love that consumed her and she is infinitely grateful. From beginning to end this movie was enchanting with the way it transformed a comic book into a tale of grief, love and hurt.

All my love, tay xx
