Easy A

Hey guys,
So a couple of days ago I watched easy a and it was actually a great movie! You may think that this movie encourages girls to be a skank or a floozy but I honestly believe that it helps show girls to treat their reputation with respect and to not let the thought of being able to be seen to tarnish your morality. Basically I found that this movie encourages you to treat yourself with respect because, how you do that determines who YOU are.

Christmas Creek

Hello my lovelies,

So yesterday my family and I went to Christmas Creek and oh boy was it beautiful! Now we were supposed to stay two nights but because of the continuous rain we were worried we might get rained in so we had to leave early. But in our brief time there I took this beautiful panorama of the natural landscape.

Have an amazing night.

So here is how my makeover went, I hope you like it xx.

Thirteen Reasons Why

Hey lovelies!

Thirteen Reasons Why left me in absolute awe. Jay Asher left Hannah Baker, a fictional teen in the grave because of thirteen people who all starred on one side of a cassette tape that poisoned the young mind of Clay. Weeks after her death Clay finds a wrapped shoe box sitting on his doorstep full of the cassette tapes that is filled with the voice of Miss Hannah Baker, Tony unknowingly assisted her in making her suicide notes in the form of tapes. These tapes provided reasons on why she took her own life and how easy it would have been for someone to help her. The characters are slammed with the fact that they all had contribution but Clay, he was different, he loved her but he let her slip through his fingers.

This book is probably best suited for older readers as the topic of suicide is so heavy. I really hope some of you have a go at reading this book because it is both tragic and beautiful.

The Amazing Spiderman

Hi everyone,

The Amazing Spiderman, for me, isn 't a comic book adaptation, it's similar to something John Green wrote about. "A star-crossed love". For The Fault in Our Stars fans it was easy to realise that that is a line take from the legendary Hazel Grace Lancaster's eulogy for Augustus Waters. Now most girls dream about having their very own Augutus Waters perhaps without cancer. I think I'll skip the boring details on this cliche love story to present you with the one I dream about and is found throughout Spiderman. Peter (Andrew Garfield) began as the shy photographer and was able to count his friends on one hand. Although his looks gave him immediate brownie points, it was the way he was able to convey his love for Gwen (Emma Stone) is what I believe to be the best love story of the new age cinema. He is so realistic with the popular phrase of "the way he looks at her" this is symbolic of a true love story, one that should be wished for by screaming fangirls. He gave Gwen a love that consumed her and she is infinitely grateful. From beginning to end this movie was enchanting with the way it transformed a comic book into a tale of grief, love and hurt.

The Art of Getting By

Hey lovelies,

When you read the name of this movie out loud it largely depicts a somber emotion. That's the problem. The movie was undeniably magnificent, as the characters slowly evolved into the story. George (Freddie Highmore) presents us with the worst ultimatum that man has ever managed to create. The decision on how this life is perceived. George has his heart set on living simply for his final fate, death. The general population of Earth see death as natures succumb element, although it is every single persons unescapable fate we try to live our lives hoping that the hours we stay up at night writing essays about a life already lived, a faded, overcome personality that someone decided to label as entertainment. George helps uncover a lost element of our lives, a simple anecdote of his behavior is powerful enough to say that he has a strong belief that we are all dying from the second we are born. So if we all manage to loathe the thought of death, why do we all waste our existence. We all say that we try our hardest not to waste time but to be honest every word in this post is wasting your time on this Earth. Another part of you is closer to death because you took another second to read this blog. I don't want to scare you into thinking every action you undertake will bring you another step closer to your fate but there isn't enough time to pretend. The Art of Getting By proved to be a strong reinforcement of life, live it well because we're all dying the difference is how will you spend the days leading to your death. I strongly recommend that a fraction of your life should be spent watching this movie, it will be time well spent.

Petals on the Wind

Hey guys,

Last night I watched the second movie to Flowers in the Attic and I watched this movie anticipating that I would fall in love with it just as I did with the first movie. However I feel as if this movie was a real let down and it transitioned between scenes just like a tv show. Another unrealistic element was the fact that Cathy would fall pregnant in any bad situation. However the last scene of the movie was perhaps my favorite where we saw Corrine (Heather Graham) suffer a breakdown in a mental institution. I felt as if this was the best acting present in the whole movie.

I hope you all have a lovely Sunday,

Flowers In the Attic

Hey guys,

So tonight I watched this movie called Flowers in the Attic. It was absolutely amazing, there were secrets and twists and the plot was unimaginably unique. I watched the 2013 version I'm pretty sure but I defiantly recommend that you all give it a wack.

Well enjoy the rest of your weekend my lovelies.

My Picks December Clothing

Hey my lovelies,

As seen on my Instagram I did a little shoot myself showing my December outfit faves. This outfit is based on a blue palette, enjoy my lovelies.

Ok my lovelies.

  1. White shirt with blue embroidery was $25.95 from Ally.
  2. Dark denim shorts $20 from Valley Girl
  3. White Watch by Karyn In LA was $19.95 from City Beach
  4. White Lo Cut Converse $90 from General Pants Co
  5. Nail Polish - Midnight Fever by Ulta $4
Ok girlies this really is summer on a budget but it is the most amazing outfit and I'm actually wearing this to a party on Monday so I might have some full body photos for you xx.

Also my makeup:
  1. Foundation: Covergirl Medium Beige 2 in 1 Tone Rehab
  2. Pressed Mineral Powder by Natio
  3. Revlon eyeliner
  4. Mascara: Clump Crusher Extentions Lash Blast
  5. Bottom Lashes I use a waterproof clear mascara for length to avoid clumpiness: Coral Colours
  6. Lips: Maybelline New York Baby Lips in Pink Lolita
  7. Eyes: Colours 2 and 4 from W7 Naked Nudes Palette (used lightly on my lids)
So for my hair I used my Remington Identity Curling Wand with the clamp. So I have day old hair and I used the 2nd sized wand and took small portions of my hair and curled 3/4 of the strands as per usual. However I didn't use any products. I let the curls sit in semi ringlets until my whole head is done and then run my fingers through to give the beach waves look.

If you haven't follow me on instagram and I will post if I am about to make a new post on the blog, I'm using it as a heads up for you guys. @dreamingwilde

December Picks

Hey lovelies,

So these are my December Nail Polish Picks,

  1. Cammomia by MUD this is actually a nail polish I bought from Woolworths it was dirt cheap and I love it! It's camouflage green and it looks absolutely fabulous. I think this only cost me $2.
  2. Tease Me by MUD is a beautiful brown colour, this goes with any outfit and just works! This is also just from Woolworths and was also $2.
  3. Soft Voile by Ulta3 is probably the best nail polish I've ever bought, this shade goes with any outfit and yes it's Ulta so it was cheap as chips, I think this cost me around $4 I defiantly reccomend this one!
  4. Lastly I have my Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Ultra Wear. This is a fabulous top coat that really does make the coloured polish last. It also gives an amazing glossy look. I actually bought this in a Sally Hansen Manicure pack so I'm unsure of the individual retail price.

Well I hopre you've enjoyed my lovelies.

Kiwi Fruit and Honey Mask

Hey lovelies,

I hope you've all had a fabulous Wednesday and today I had a go at the Kiwi Fruit and Honey mask. Okay, so I was really excited for this one although I found that it only made my skin soft and it was quite messy. But by all means take a scroll through the steps and have a wack at it, tell me how it worked for you!

The Kiwi Fruit and Honey Mask:

You will need:

  • Kiwi Fruit
  • Honey
  • Small Bowl
  • Fork
  • Spoon

1. Collect the small bowl, fork, spoon and kiwi fruit

2. Slice the kiwi in half and peel away and discard the skin

3. Mash the kiwi with the fork until you reach a smooth consistency

4. Collect 2 teaspoons of honey

5. Mix into the mashed kiwi until thoroughly combined

6. Evenly spread across your face and lightly work it into your skin. Leave it on for about 15 mins and wash off with luke warm water.

Enjoy my lovelies - comment your thoughts
